I cannot say enough good things about the work they do. My mom's house was unlivable. They came in and cleaned out all of the garbage, removed the soiled flooring, got rid of all the unusable appliances and gutted the bathroom for us. They cleaned and disinfected the entire house.     Babs Costanzo and her husband, Cuyler, own the Bio-One of Akron. Babs is a life-long resident of the Akron area. She started her career in television news, anchoring and reporting stories throughout Northeast Ohio. One story stayed with her. A grieving mother had no one to turn to for help after the coroner took her daughter away. Years later, the unthinkable happened to a friend, who also was left alone in the house after the passing of her child and couldn’t bring herself to enter the room where the tragedy occurred. Babs recognized a desperate need to help people during their darkest times. She and Cuyler both have a caring nature and hope the services they provide can provide the first step to healing. Cuyler graduated from The University of Akron, where he holds a master's degree in Education- Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Cuyler is active in his community where serves on the board of directors for a local women's shelter. Cuyler has a passion for helping others in need and serving his community. Cuyler and his wife, Babs, have 5 children and are active members in their church.

    I had a situation that I was unsure how to handle in an apartment . Cuyler answered my phone call around 7pm and took the time to talk with me about the situation and my options. Michael was there by 10am the next morning to take care of our biohazard issue.     I recently worked with Bio-One of Akron to assist in the clearing out of a home that had become contaminated with black mold. The former resident was present as we worked in the yard sorting the personal belongings of the resident to find the items they wanted to keep and items they wanted to donate or dispose of. The two workers were very respectful of the home, the owner, and the items removed from the home. On top of that, they worked quickly and efficiently. Overall, we were highly impressed by Bio-One of Akron and they will be at the top of our list when we need similar services in the future.
