Cuyahoga County is a county in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2018 United States Census estimates, the population was 1,243,857, making it the second most populous county in the state. Its county seat and largest city is Cleveland.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has an area of 1,246 square miles (3,230 km²), of which 457 square miles (1,180 km²) is land and 788 square miles (2,040 km²) (63%) is water. It is the second-largest county in Ohio by area. A portion of Cuyahoga Valley National Park is in the county's southeastern section.
