Geauga County is a county in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2010 census, the population was 93,389. The county seat is Chardon. The county is named for an Onondaga or Seneca language word meaning 'raccoon', originally the name of the Grand River.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has an area of 408 square miles (1,060 km²), of which 400 square miles (1,000 km²) is land and 8.1 square miles (21 km²) (2.0%) is water.
